Safe Sales, Opening, & Repair

Commercial Safe ServicesSafes are not a ‘one size fits all’ security solution. There are many important components to consider when deciding on a safe for your home or business. We understand the difference in safe ratings and what they mean in the type and protection they afford.

At Assured Security, we'll work with you every step of the way to determine the best safe for your unique application.

SAFE RATINGS

Safes provide varying levels of protection for burglary and fire. Look for one or both of the following ratings to ensure you have the safeguards you need.

  • B Class – Good protection against an attempted burglary attack
  • C Class - Better protection

    • The explosion test requires the safe to be preheated to 2000°F for 30 minutes (one-hour rating) or 45 minutes (two-hour rating).
    • The impact resistance test involves dropping the safe 30 fees onto a riprap of brick on a concrete base and then heating it to 1550°F for 30 minutes (one-hour rating) or 1638°F for 45 minutes (two-hour rating).
